Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso/Your lie in April Review

First impression!

My god the art is amazing! It's so fluid and they really took some time with this one. I mean when you first start the 1st episode... BAM! Beautifulness and great flow in the first 60 seconds.... Just.... I don't even know! It made me really excited to watch it!
I really love classical music so if you're not into it. You might not like it.
It's a bit slow through the episodes. They try to give you background in each episode and I feel like it gets old. Like, you get the point in the first couple episodes. Plus, they cover the music up with memories and I. Really. Don't. Care! I want to listen to the music!
They do have a little CGI in it. Which, everyone knows that I do not care for CGI. It's not so bad though. It's very subtle. Since they only use it for playing the piano. I really like how it gives you a natural feel to it. As if it was real.
The feelings that you get with the characters in this anime are pretty good.

*WARNING*
This is a sad anime!
If you do not like sad anime shows then do not watch!

I feel like there are going to be two different types of people when watching this...
1. The type who cries at the first episode.
2. The type who cries at the later episodes.
You are going to at least shed one tear in this anime.
I mean... I, personally, feel like it isn't a tear-jerker because I have seen some pretty sad stuff and this just isn't that bad, but that just depends on the person, I suppose.
Most of the characters aren't that bad.

There is one that gets on my nerves and if you see it, you might understand what I mean.

Let me start with...
There is sort of a love Square(?) turn to love Triangle(?).
There are 4 main characters in this. (The ones in the pictures obviously. >.<)
Kosei Arima. (Glasses dude)
Kaori Miyazono. (Blonde Chick)
Tsubaki Sawabe. (Short brown haired chick)
Ryota Watari. (Smiley brown haired boy)

Anyway, I'm just gonna tell ya that Tsubaki gets on my LAAAAAST nerve!
I feel like she's selfish and spoiled and super annoying. If you love someone, you want them to be happy and will do anything to make them happy. You don't hold them back. You help them achieve whatever they are trying to do.

SHE DOES NONE OF THAT and it drives me nuts!

I feel like a lot of people don't understand what she's doing. They just think that she's in pain and she deserves to be happy. BUT! She hasn't helped herself become happy. She has dragged herself down and made people who are watching this anime feel bad for her.
Then when she tries to make herself happy she doesn't do it the correct way. She makes things worse for the other characters and she is just being selfish!
So for that character.... I wish she would just be smacked or something.  Make her grow up and get a grip. >:(
MUSIC!

The opening is ok. I tend to skip it a lot.
I really like the ending. I love the way it starts and I would listen to the whole thing if I wasn't so impatient to see the next episode. :P

Anywho! I feel like this anime is like a 6.5/10.
It's pretty boring at time but then it has really emotional parts to it that make me want to watch more.
I hope to see what happens next! :)

Item Review! Eyeball Bows!

Hey everyone! Sorry for not posting in a few weeks!
Ever since I first saw them, I have wanted them. The only thing is, is that they were super expensive for just bow! (Like $6.00 for ONE! I'm a cheapskate and don't want to spend the much money on just one bow. >.>)
I looked and looked.... and looked some more and STILL couldn't find any...

UNTIL..........!
I found some on Aliexpress! FINALLY! JESUS! x.x (Shop link will be down on the bottom!)

They are $4.50 a pair. (THAT'S RIGHT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! A PAIR!)
However, they do have sales so that you can save a few cents here and there. As of right now, they are $4.05 a pair. So I mean.... Not a whole lot but still enough, if you are a penny pincher like myself. :P
Anyway, I paid March 9th and they shipped them off on March 10th.
They arrived today, March 18th! I was really surprised at how fast they were. Super duper happy with shipping!
(Btw, the shipping is free! ;D WOOT!)
My package was in a box. (As shown below.)
Then I opened it, of course.
BAM! EYEBALL BOWS!
AND MORE! (Plus a little extra something!) :D
Close up of the little starfish extra hair clip I got.

I was very surpised to see the little starfish clip inside. It's such a nice, sweet thing! And I will love and wear it to the beach!
I thought it was nice because I live really close to the beach and if I want to look like a mermaid... STARFISH CLIP! :D Yay! hehe (Ok... I think I'm done squeeling over this. >.<... Maybe. >.>)

They also sent me their store not. Sorry the pictures wonky :(

Lastly! A picture with me wearing one in my hair! :D

They are super nice! Not flimsy or anything! The hair clips are metal and strong and easy to put in your hair.
So, all in all. 10/10! Super happy with everything! :D

If you want to buy yourself some cute eyeball bows, Check them out!

F no meikyuu oneshot review

Ok so... I don't usually do short manga/oneshot reviews because there isn't usually very much information to even write about. They are mostly the same cute school girl falling for a guy.... But I decided that I might as well start because at least I can give my two sense about it.
So for my first oneshot to write about.... I give the award toooooooo

F no meikyuu!!! Congratulations for actually keeping me interested and not wanting to just skip to the end!
This little one shot was actually a little different from most of them. I feel like they could have made it a pretty long manga if they wanted to, but for this.... I feel like they gave just the right amount of information for me not to get to upset at the end.

It's about this girl who pretty much gets lost/falls into danger where ever she goes and her "friend" always knows where she is and how to help her because apparently he's psychic .... Seriously....
Her brother and only family member is a detective and they have to do this case and he brings her "friend" along to help him with the case. As you expect.... The main character gets in some trouble with the case and guess who comes to save the day!!!
But I'm not really giving the oneshot it's justice. You will just have to read. It's worth it and it's not very long for those who can't sit still for very long.

I feel like the art is about average for one shots.... Nothing to special.
So I can say I give this about a 4/5.
Anyway, I hope this helps and you check it out if you're into one shots. :3

Kamisama Hajimemashita Season 2 Review

I know, I know. 'IT'S NOT OVER YET!'
I get it!
Don't bite my head off!
I decided to do a little mini review because I feel like I'm holding to much in for this anime and IFIDON'TLETITOUTI'MGONNABURST! *Breaths heavy and twitches eyebrow*

*ehem...*
Anyway...
I really loved the first season of this and I was curious as to how they were going to continue. (I didn't spoil myself with the manga because I really do love the art in the anime.)
So, There have been many new characters coming into play in the last few episodes that have come out. A lot of things going down that Nanami hasn't figured out but you, as the watcher, do.
The new characters are pretty handsome, if I do say so myself.
Some good, some bad, some just weirdos. (lol)
I feel like this season could go anyway at the moment.

*Spoiler from season 1 if you haven't watched*
As you all know, Nanami is in love with Tomoe. She had told him during the last episode of season 1. Which made it an amazing ending and could have left it at that to make you wonder what all when down. BUT! They didn't and that's ok!

Well, Season two starts out and its basically like nothing happened and they go one with their lives and Human god and familuar. Of course, it does have it's moments of 'awww's' and awareness but other than that it doesn't really say much... UNTIL~! The newest episodes (5-6). Then things become a little depressing and you don't know what is going to happen. You know what you WANT to happen but is it going to...?! You get your realization that you don't want to hear and you just wanna plug your ears and not listen. (lalala NOT LISTENING! *Sticks tongue out*)
You realize what she is going to do and you sorta know already but is it going to be like all the rest of the *spoiler instered here that I can't give you*?

ALSO! She finally meets who she's looking for and that doesn't help matters.... (You know who I am talking about if you have watched the first season.)

*sigh*

So, right now I am left wanting more and really just wanting to know the end of this whole thing and how it's going to turn out.
But I also want to know what's going to happen between everyone?
So many questions!

Ok... I'm done.

Sword Art Online Anime Review

To be honest, I wasn't really expecting to watch this. I had watched a couple of episodes before and it just didn't seem that great. I finally decided to give it another shot. It was on Netflix and staring me in the face and I just decide, 'Eh, what the heck.'
I was surprisingly entertained! It kept my interest and I finished season 1 in 1.5 days. I would have probably finished in one if I had decided to stay up instead of go to bed, but meh, it was worth the wait. My anticipation made me start playing SAO as soon as I woke up.
There seem to be only two main characters, Kirito(Main dude in black) and Asuna (Main girl behind Kirito), and a lot of side characters through out the whole anime. It mixes it up a bit in the second half of the season though.
By now, if you're reading a review for the anime, I figure you already know the general plot.
If not, well.... Here is the gist of it...
It's about a game and everyone gets stuck in it. They can't logout and if the die in the game, they die in real life. Kitito was a beta user of the game and realizes that they can't log out right before they all get teleported to main place where everyone finds out that the game creator made it this way. The only way to get out of the game is if someone beats all 100 levels. (This is the part where you figure that will be Kirito...) so basically, it's about him trying to save anyone. Everything that happens makes you really want to watch the next episode....and the next.....and the next.... You get where I'm going with this right?
Anyway!
It made me wish that we could play games like that. And I don't even play games. lol
There is a little bit of everything in this. Sadness, hatred, love, funniness. It levels it's self out.
Overall, I really enjoyed it.
I know there are more season coming out and there is a season 2 out not but as of right now, I am not considering watching it. I have read the summary of it and it just seems as though it's the same thing over again. Only, Asuna isn't very big in the second season. Maybe if she wasn't a background character I could watch it, but it's just one of those 'I don't care' seasons. I understand why she's not in it as a main character, of course. But still, I don't care for the second season. I kind of think they should have made the second season a little more about them in real life, maybe? But ultimately I just don't think they should have kept going. I think they should have just stopped at season 1 and made a little special about Kirito and Asuna. That would have made more sense to me. I might spoil myself and read the manga, however.
I can't really explain what I am talking about unless you want spoilers.... SO! Forgive me and just watch the anime. :P

Art - Nothing completely special about it. Characters are cute though. :) Favorite scene was probably with Kirito's long hair. :P
Music- I couldn't get into the music of the OP and ED. Most of the time I just skipped them. The music IN the anime, however, was beautiful and I really liked it.

Bacon wrapped Chicken Recipe??

I have been having a lot of people ask for my recipe for my chicken I made last night... SO! I decided to make a blog entry out of it. I know it's not my usual thing for this blog but I thought this would be the best and easiest way to share it with everyone.
Unfortunately, I do not have any photos but if I decide to make it again I will post photos then. :)

On to the the recipe!

What you will need -
Garlic salt
Italian Seasoning
Salt
Pepper
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Fiesta Cheese
Bacon
Chicken Breast/Tenders (I used both.)
Foil
Baking sheet
And an oven of course. :P

I just used frozen chicken and thawed it out. You can use fresh or whatever. You then put seasonings on both sides of chicken. Try not to over season. I just put a little in the middle of my palm for each and decided it was enough.
Wrap Bacon around chicken. If using chicken breast, use two slices of bacon. Chicken tenders only need one slice.

Set the oven at 350 degrees. Put foil on baking sheet. (Easier to clean up this way.) Place chicken in over for 25 minutes.
Then turn oven to broil and cook for an additional 5 minutes on each side or until bacon looks crisp or to your liking.
Take chicken out and sprinkle shredded Fiesta cheese on top of chicken.
Let it melt onto chicken and then you're done!
Serve with stuffing, corn or whatever you want!
I hope you like it! :)

Update and anime review in one! :D (Anime Review - Pandora Hearts)

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope 2015 will be better than 2014!
I got to spend Christmas with my family, which was really nice. :) I got my hair done while I was down there. (Much cheaper than where I live now) I also spent some time with my friend and seen everyone at my old job(s). I miss it because I miss my friend and family but I don't miss the weather.
I'm curious as to what this year will bring. I hope it is fun.
Also! I got a new wig! I was thinking about making a review for it. :3

Anyway, on to the anime review!

Pandora Hearts

So, if you like strange twisted story plots about Alice in wonderland, then you will like this! Of course, it's the same(?) characters but different. This story is very difficult to describe but basically Alice is looking for her memories and her 'knight' is Oz. A boy who needs to find himself and find the reasons as to why he is who he is and why his father hates him. That is as simple as I can put it.
I have to admit, I watched it until episode 17 and then skipped right to the ending. (Episode 25) I was very interested in it until episode 17 because I wanted to know what was going on but since it was basically getting down to the nitty gritty, I figured that everything was going to happen in the last episode like it usually does. NOPE! Everything I figured out was basically true and then didn't really solve any questions. I feel like this anime was a very big waste of time for me. I enjoyed it until the very disappointing ending.
I do have to say to read the manga though. The manga is ongoing so more information should come out.
There isn't going to be a season 2 from what I have read so it's rather disappointing to watch but just to be able to see the art and color of the anime is nice.
Op/Ending.
The opening was ok but I just thought the ending song was much better.
